Alan joined the Impact Finance team at the Sorenson Impact Institute in 2021. His role involves the management of impact finance projects, the structuring of innovative finance vehicles, and account management and business development for the Institute.

Prior to joining the organization, Alan spent more than a decade in private capital markets working across consulting, strategic partnerships, and business development. He holds an MBA from the Ivey Business School’s Executive MBA program and a bachelor’s degree from York University. He remains active in the broader ecosystem and currently serves on the board of the Canada Forum for Impact Investment and Development.

Originally from Hong Kong, Alan moved to Canada with his family in the 1990s. He now lives in Toronto with his wife and daughter.
