Nurse-Family Partnership

Nurse-Family Partnership (NFP) provides nurse home visitation services to first time, Medicaid eligible pregnant mothers. Prior research has associated a wide range of improved health and socioeconomic outcomes with NFP’s programming.

The Sorenson Impact Institute is an engaged thought partner for NFP, spanning multiple projects and consulting services. The Institute has provided evidence-based research and completed policy analyses and briefs to demonstrate the effectiveness of NFP programming and establish financial benefits at national and state levels. The Institute most recently partnered with the Health Economics Core at the University of Utah to update previous return on investment analyses and conduct additional quantitative and qualitative analyses to demonstrate NFP’s effectiveness.
