Justice Climate Fund (JCF) is a nonprofit organization with a mission to mobilize capital and resources to strengthen under-resourced communities, funding projects that provide clean energy, support cleaner air and water, improve public health, and build economic resilience so all people across the nation can thrive. JCF established a fund to provide investment capital, credit enhancement guarantees, technical assistance, and capacity building to community lenders to facilitate the clean energy transition in under-resourced communities, expand clean energy finance markets, and improve outcomes for residents.
The Sorenson Impact Institute partnered with JCF to develop an Impact Measurement and Management (IMM) framework. The engagement involved the development of an impact thesis, a list of impact metrics to track, and an IMM plan. The IMM plan provides guidance on data collection and data reporting.
