Forbes OZ 20
Defining the burgeoning Opportunity Zone landscape.

Together Forbes and the Sorenson Impact Center want to showcase the leaders and investors who are impacting economically distressed communities.

When Opportunity Zones (OZ) were added to the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act in 2017 there were many questions about what exactly this meant for new investments.

The Sorenson Impact Center is helping to define the OZ landscape by reviewing innovative leaders who are dedicated to impactful investments in overlooked communities for the Forbes OZ 20: Top Opportunity Zone Catalysts list. This initiative will build the reputation and highlight the impact of the top 20 OZ finalists and their work to revitalize their communities.

“It’s uniting a group of stakeholders across industries, across the country, across economies, to get back involved in their communities at a very local level.”
